Bersih’s response : It is not true that the handwriting of the voter and witness must be different, not true that the witness must write his Malaysian IC address and the way the Malaysian address is written must be the EXACTLY the same. These won’t cause your postal ballot be rejected but not writing your full name as per IC in CAPITAL letters or not writing the date in full, it is up to the discretion of the Returning Officer to accept or reject.
Misinformation : For postal voting’s Borang 2, handwriting of voter and witness must not be the same, address exactly as IC, etc.
