Can I be barred from entering the polling centre (Pusat Mengundi)?

  1. If you are wearing clothing that has a political party logo or name, a candidate’s name or any other political element on it, election workers including the police can deny your entry. This includes carrying accessories or umbrellas/ bags/ caps with such elements. Such clothing can be deemed as campaigning on polling day and this is an offence. Besides this, all other attire is acceptable.
  2. You are allowed to enter the polling centre (Pusat Mengundi) even if you are Covid-19 positive.
