Will I be stopped from entering the polling centre if I come outside the “Masa Keluar Mengundi Yang Digalakkan”?

No. “Mengalakkan” means encouraged. The reason for this is to avoid crowding and this feature came about during the Covid-19 pandemic. You are free to cast your vote at anytime within the gazetted time of 8am to 6pm (Peninsula) and 7.30am and 5.30pm (Sabah & Sarawak). Please take note that some polling stations are gazetted to close earlier than these times, you are highly advised to check the closing time of your polling station at https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my/semakan/daftarPemilihPapar
